Eat the Heat
by Accept
Following the departure of iconic frontman Udo Dirkschneider, the German heavy metal stalwarts enlisted American vocalist David Reece and significantly altered their sound. 'Eat the Heat' attempts to capture the lucrative, arena-ready glam metal market, smoothing over their signature grit with heavily polished production and highly commercial songwriting. The controversial pivot alienated their fanbase and led to the band's temporary dissolution shortly after the corresponding tour.
