Album Notes & Community Reviews

ACxDC's sophomore full-length, 'Satan Is King', is a ferocious offering of powerviolence and grindcore, defined by its breakneck tempos and raw hardcore punk fury. As their debut on Prosthetic Records, the album uses its title as a satirical retort to Kanye West's 'Jesus Is King' while exploring the band's established lyrical blend of veganism, straight-edge, anti-fascism, and Satanism as a symbol of rebellion. The fifteen succinct and politically-charged tracks solidify the Los Angeles group's aggressive, pit-inducing sound and confrontational ethos within the extreme music landscape.
