Album Notes & Community Reviews

Having established himself as a legendary guitarist for King Crimson, Frank Zappa, and David Bowie, Adrian Belew achieved a surprising commercial breakthrough with this deeply quirky solo effort. He performed nearly every instrument himself, wrapping his wildly unconventional guitar effects and complex rhythms into highly accessible, Beatles-esque pop structures. The hit single 'Oh Daddy' features vocal interplay with his 11-year-old daughter, highlighting the record's uniquely playful charm.
