Album Notes & Community Reviews

The legendary vibraphonist and jazz-funk pioneer collaborates with the Jazz Is Dead production team for his first album of new material in years. The entirely analog recording sessions provide a remarkably warm, velvety backdrop of vintage soul-jazz grooves, perfectly highlighting Ayers's iconic, airy vocal phrasing and masterful mallet work.
