Execution

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Singing entirely in their native language, this Parisian quintet delivered one of the most vital and energetic documents of the French heavy metal underground. 'Execution' relies on blistering twin-guitar harmonies and Phil Grelaud's high-pitched vocal theatrics to explore dark, historical lyrical themes primarily concerning the French Revolution. The furiously paced album helped definitively establish a distinctly European flavor within the burgeoning speed metal scene.
