Album Notes & Community Reviews

Originally formed in the early 1990s but only releasing their second full-length nearly three decades later, this New York quartet completely subverts the expectations of brutal death metal. The record grounds its guttural, guttural intensity with wildly progressive, melodic, and almost psychedelic cosmic flourishes. It is a deeply strange, highly technical, and refreshing take on science-fiction-inspired extreme metal.
