Album Notes & Community Reviews

Marking a massive, fundamentally critical turning point for the Milanese band, 'Germi' is the very first Afterhours album recorded entirely in the Italian language. The record aggressively channels the heavy, distorted angst of the American post-grunge movement, utilizing abrasive noise-rock guitars to back Manuel Agnelli's deeply cynical, highly visceral lyricism. It is widely considered an absolute cornerstone of the 1990s Italian alternative rock explosion.
