Conceived during the 2020 remote improvisation project Weavings curated by Unsound Festival, 'Ego Death' represents the debut collaborative album from French experimentalist Aho Ssan and Polish cellist Resina. The nine-track record acts as a profound meditation on the dissolution of individual identity, allowing their distinct tools to merge into a single collaborative consciousness. The compositions push the tonal limits of Resina's cello, wrapping scratchy acoustic string dynamics in massive, crackling electronic synthesis and granular noise loops.
