Album Notes & Community Reviews

Overcoming immense, highly publicized label disputes that severely delayed the release, the acclaimed songwriter delivered a razor-sharp, fiercely intelligent power-pop record. Her highly melodic, meticulously crafted arrangements serve as the perfect vehicle for deeply cynical, biting observations on the music industry and failing relationships. The critically adored, sophisticated album firmly established her reputation as a profoundly independent, uncompromising voice in 1990s rock.
