Album Notes & Community Reviews

Returning to the raw, stripped-down acoustic instrumentation of their early career, the Arizona anti-folk outfit delivers a scathingly political album. Frontman Sean Bonnette鈥檚 lyricism directly confronts the overwhelming anxieties of the modern era, addressing internet radicalization, systemic poverty, and political hypocrisy with biting cynicism. Despite the incredibly bleak subject matter, the record retains their signature sense of absurd, black humor.
