Album Notes & Community Reviews

Shortening their name from Andrew Jackson Jihad, the Arizona outfit delivers a wildly erratic, darkly humorous exploration of millennial despair. The album continues their transition away from pure acoustic folk-punk, integrating heavy, fuzzed-out electric guitars and bizarre synth-pop experimentation. Sean Bonnette's lyricism remains a brilliant, self-deprecating masterclass in processing childhood trauma and societal absurdity.
