Album Notes & Community Reviews

Brooklyn emcee AKAI SOLO issues a dense, highly philosophical treatise on modern abstract hip-hop. 'No Control, No Glory' relies on dusty, drumless jazz loops to spotlight his incredibly cryptic, stream-of-consciousness lyrical delivery. Balancing dark humor with esoteric boastfulness, the album solidifies his status as one of the most uniquely cerebral voices in the underground.
