Album Notes & Community Reviews

Exploding with massive, relentlessly brassy volume, this incredibly successful hometown recording catapulted the physically imposing trumpeter into national mainstream fame. The fiercely energetic, highly commercialized Dixieland swing perfectly encapsulated the raucous, party-oriented atmosphere of Bourbon Street.
