Album Notes & Community Reviews
Backed by the band Shot in the Dark, Al Stewart delivered a polished set of folk-tinged soft rock on '24 Carrots'. The album continues his tradition of incorporating historical narratives into contemporary pop structures, though with a more radio-ready production sheen. It yielded the hit single 'Midnight Rocks', capturing the sleek studio aesthetic of the era.
