Album Notes & Community Reviews
Generally regarded as the first album recorded by a British bhangra group, it launched the Southall scene that would dominate the UK Asian live circuit for years. The band had formed in Southall two years earlier and was discovered by Pran Gohill, and founders Channi Singh and Harjeet Gandhi set the template of Punjabi folk song carried by a modern band lineup.
