Album Notes & Community Reviews

A massive commercial and critical triumph in France, Alain Souchon鈥檚 ninth studio album beautifully modernizes the chanson tradition. The record features lush, atmospheric sophisti-pop arrangements supporting his deeply poetic, melancholic observations on love and societal change, notably highlighted by the hit 'Foule sentimentale'.
