Album Notes & Community Reviews

Firmly rejecting the encroaching pop influences in Nashville, the Georgia native achieved massive commercial success by sticking to his honky-tonk roots. 'A Lot About Livin' (And a Little 'Bout Love)' is packed with fiddle, pedal steel, and clever, everyman songwriting, highlighted by the ubiquitous smash hit 'Chattahoochee'. The record cemented his status as a leading pillar of the 90s neo-traditionalist country movement.
