Album Notes & Community Reviews

'The Price to Play' documents Alan Price's post-Animals direction, with organ-led arrangements that retain British rhythm-and-blues roots while moving toward a more compact pop-rock sound. The album reflects the transition many British beat-era musicians made from club R&B toward more individual studio identities.
