Album Notes & Community Reviews

The former Animals keyboardist delivers a highly acclaimed, conceptual singer-songwriter piece reflecting on his working-class roots in Northeast England. Praised for its sharp, observational lyricism, the album seamlessly incorporates British music hall traditions and sophisticated piano-pop structures. The hit single 'Jarrow Song' powerfully chronicles the historical struggles of the region's shipyard workers.
