Album Notes & Community Reviews

Reuniting heavily with producer Guy Sigsworth, the iconic Canadian singer-songwriter delivers a remarkably mature, heavily introspective eighth studio album. The production favors lush, radio-friendly pop-rock arrangements that heavily emphasize her complex, intensely analytical vocal melodies. Thematic shifts toward motherhood, spiritual equilibrium, and overcoming past traumas mark a distinct departure from the visceral angst of her legendary 1990s output.
