Cry

Album Notes & Community Reviews

The enigmatic New Zealand musician produces a fragile, incredibly lo-fi collection of acoustic avant-folk. 'Cry' heavily features Galbraith's unconventional, droning violin techniques paired with hushed, depressive vocal delivery and erratic tape-loop manipulation. The profoundly intimate, often dissonant recording is a prime example of the isolated, experimental underground originating from the South Island.
