Album Notes & Community Reviews
Updating his sound for the 1970s, the legendary blues guitarist collaborated with Stax Records' elite rhythm sections, including The Bar-Kays, to produce this remarkably smooth crossover hit. The album seamlessly blends King's stinging, unmistakable 'Flying V' guitar bends with lush horn charts and thick, syncopated funk grooves. The title track remains one of his most enduring and heavily sampled masterworks.
