Album Notes & Community Reviews

Assembled by former Rainbow vocalist Graham Bonnet, this hard rock powerhouse is most historically significant for launching the international career of a young Swedish guitar prodigy named Yngwie Malmsteen. 'No Parole From Rock 'n' Roll' brilliantly contrasts Bonnet's powerful, gritty vocal delivery with Malmsteen's blindingly fast, classically inspired fretboard pyrotechnics. The critically acclaimed, highly melodic debut essentially provided the crucial foundational blueprint for the ensuing neoclassical heavy metal movement.
