Album Notes & Community Reviews
Inspired by Hayao Miyazaki's film 'Princess Mononoke', 'Kodama' marks a return to the band's signature blackgaze sound after a softer-toned predecessor. The album's concept revolves around the confrontation between the natural, spiritual world and the human world. Its sound balances ethereal melodies with passages of metallic intensity, creating a dynamic and immersive experience.
