Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following a near-fatal battle with Hepatitis C, legendary songwriter Alejandro Escovedo collaborated with John Cale to produce the deeply resonant 'The Boxing Mirror'. The raw, alternative rock album actively confronts his brush with death, featuring gritty guitar tones, sorrowful strings, and immensely powerful, emotive vocal performances.
