Album Notes & Community Reviews

Collaborating as a dual Portland-based project, 'Cold Moon' is a joint studio album from singer-songwriter Alela Diane and composer-guitarist Ryan Francesconi. The record was written during the freezing winter of 2014, pairing Diane's evocative vocals with Francesconi's intricate, classical guitar picking and woodwind arrangements. The resulting compositions deliver a peaceful, cozy, and highly organic winter-focused folk statement.
