Sonno

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded entirely in various hotel rooms using only a vintage Roland MC-202 synthesizer and a delay pedal, the Italian composer delivers a masterclass in extreme musical restraint. 'Sonno' utilizes incredibly slow, highly repetitive, and deeply dark analog sequences to evoke the profound loneliness and anxiety of endless international travel. The entirely instrumental album is a beautifully minimalistic, remarkably ominous, and profoundly atmospheric ambient masterpiece.
