Album Notes & Community Reviews
Directed by composer Aleksander Maliszewski, the Polish big band delivers a remarkably slick, highly orchestrated jazz-funk record. 'The Eccentric' showcases tight brass arrangements soaring over complex, driving funk grooves, reflecting the incredibly high level of musicianship present within the Eastern Bloc jazz scene[cite: 1].
