Album Notes & Community Reviews
Returning after a lengthy hiatus, the former Big Star frontman delivers a laid-back, highly eclectic homage to his Memphis and New Orleans roots. The loose, spontaneous recording sessions favor gritty R&B covers and soulful garage rock over the tortured power-pop of his past.
