DSU

Album Notes & Community Reviews

'DSU' was the breakout album that brought Alex G's prolific Bandcamp output to a wider audience. Despite its lo-fi bedroom recording origins, the album showcases sophisticated songwriting and oddball arrangements that hint at Elliott Smith and Pavement. It is a warped, intimate collection of songs that feel both familiar and unsettlingly unique, defining the sound of 2010s DIY indie rock.
