Album Notes & Community Reviews

Alex G's 'Trick' is a foundational record for the modern bedroom-pop and slacker-rock scenes, filled with short, idiosyncratic songs that feel like intimate sketches. The album showcases his uncanny ability to write memorable, slightly warped melodies using minimal recording setups. Its mixture of acoustic folk, fuzzy guitars, and cryptic storytelling established him as a key figure in the DIY indie world long before his mainstream breakthrough.
