Album Notes & Community Reviews
The Russian-born, New York-based trumpeter enlists a stellar quintet, featuring Chris Potter on saxophone, for a clinic in modern acoustic jazz. 'Destinations Unknown' effortlessly navigates highly complex, odd-metered compositions while maintaining an incredibly strong sense of swing and melodic invention.
