Recorded in a matter of days following a harrowing stint in a psychiatric ward, Moby Grape co-founder Skip Spence delivered a devastating, deeply fragmented acoustic masterpiece. 'Oar' is incredibly sparse and wonderfully atmospheric, weaving heavily anxious, highly cryptic psychedelic folk tales through a profoundly melancholic, beautifully surreal darkness.
