Album Notes & Community Reviews

Emerging from the Los Angeles scene, this ensemble expanded standard blues formats with sprawling improvisations and eclectic instrumentation[cite: 1]. 'For Sale' utilizes horns, vibraphone, and extended jamming, pushing their sound firmly into jazz-rock territory[cite: 1]. The album is a prime example of the late-sixties trend where regional blues bands evolved into complex, progressive psychedelic units[cite: 1].
