Album Notes & Community Reviews
Following the massive success of his previous solo outing, the shock-rock pioneer delivered another highly theatrical concept album, continuing the nightmarish storyline of his alter-ego Steven. The record wildly veers between Broadway-style showtunes, disco pastiches, and traditional hard rock. While alienating some purist fans, it highlighted his penchant for dark humor and ambitious conceptual storytelling.
