DaDa
by Alice Cooper
Recorded during a period of profound substance abuse that the artist himself famously claims to have no memory of, this surreal concept album concludes his experimental 'blackout' era. 'DaDa' heavily utilizes eerie, heavily processed synthesizers and the Fairlight CMI to tell a deeply disturbing, gothic-tinged narrative surrounding cannibalism and psychological horror. Though it suffered from zero promotional support upon release, it is now revered as a bizarre, terrifying cult masterpiece.
