Album Notes & Community Reviews
Produced by David Briggs, the theatrical group's sophomore effort continued their bizarre, highly experimental integration of garage rock and avant-garde psychedelia. While lacking the polished hard-rock hooks that would later make them superstars, its eerie, slightly chaotic charm perfectly encapsulates the weird, frightening energy of their early Frank Zappa-mentored era.
