Album Notes & Community Reviews

South African songwriter Alice Phoebe Lou embraces a warm, vintage analog aesthetic on her highly intimate album 'Shelter'. The record is dominated by gentle electric pianos, subdued percussion, and her incredibly expressive, jazz-tinged vocal delivery. Thematically, it navigates the desire for safe harbor and self-acceptance through deeply sentimental, lounge-adjacent indie pop.
