Album Notes & Community Reviews

Produced by Franco Battiato, 'Capo Nord' proved to be a major commercial breakthrough for Italian singer-songwriter Alice. The album masterfully merges her soaring, theatrical vocals with quirky, synthesizer-driven new wave arrangements, propelled by the massive hit single 'Il vento caldo dell'estate'. It marks the beginning of her highly successful 1980s pop dominance.
