Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Fidl' is the first solo klezmer fiddle recording ever made, with Alicia Svigals, a co-founder of the Klezmatics, leading an ensemble that includes pianist Lorin Sklamberg and tsimbl player Joshua Horowitz. Fiddler Steven Greenman, drummer Elaine Hoffman Watts, bassist Pablo Aslan, accordionist Lauren Brody and kaval player Matthieu Darriau complete a band that treats the old Ashkenazi repertoire as living dance and listening music.
