Alim Qasimov performs here with the trio he formed in 1989 with tar player Malik Mansurov and Malik's brother Elshan Mansurov on kamanche, the formation that carried his art to international audiences. Qasimov, winner of the IMC-UNESCO Music Prize in 1999, was later named by Bj枚rk as her favourite singer alive today.
