Nothing as the Ideal
by All Them Witches
Recorded at London's iconic Abbey Road Studios, this is the band's fifth full-length album and their first recorded as a trio following the departure of keyboardist Jonathan Draper. The change in lineup resulted in a more direct, guitar-driven, and heavier sound, focusing on the core chemistry between bassist/vocalist Charles Michael Parks Jr., guitarist Ben McLeod, and drummer Robby Staebler. The album's eight tracks veer between sprawling, heavy psychedelic jams and more concise, aggressive rock.
