Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Metal Fatigue' is a landmark album in the guitar virtuoso's solo career, blending intense fusion techniques with accessible rock structures. Allan Holdsworth's signature SynthAxe playing and sophisticated legato style heavily define the record's sound, establishing a new standard for progressive instrumentalists in the 1980s. The release effectively straddles the line between complex jazz improvisations and radio-friendly melodic hooks.
