Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded at a reading in Chicago, this live document features the poet delivering his seminal Beat manifesto right as it became a center of national obscenity trials. Ginsberg's rhythmic, liturgical delivery captures the raw, anti-authoritarian spirit of the era, establishing 'Howl' as a foundational text for both the 1960s counterculture and modern spoken-word performance.
