Album Notes & Community Reviews

Deeply rooted in the cultural fabric of New Orleans, this masterwork seamlessly blends elegant piano-driven R&B with sophisticated orchestral arrangements and subtle psychedelic overtones. Toussaint steps fully into the spotlight as a performer rather than just a behind-the-scenes writer and producer, resulting in one of his most personal and atmospheric recordings.
