Album Notes & Community Reviews
Aiming for a more mature and sophisticated image, the Scottish new wave group enlisted high-profile producers like Tony Visconti to helm their third and final album. 'Bite' shifts away from their earlier, quirky post-punk sound into slick, disco-infused sophisti-pop territory. Despite yielding the hit single 'Don't Talk to Me About Love', the stylistic change fractured the band, leading to their subsequent dissolution.
