Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Finnish pioneers' debut album establishes their early, doom-laden iteration of death metal before their later progressive pivot. Heavily steeped in Celtic mythology and the epic poetry of the Kalevala, the slow, atmospheric riffing and guttural vocals evoke a crushing, distinctly Nordic melancholy.
