Album Notes & Community Reviews

This widely acclaimed release marked a significant maturation for the singer-songwriter, delivering a serious and introspective blend of pop and soft rock. Moving beyond simpler gospel motifs, the tracks navigate complex personal themes of longing, social consciousness, and spiritual endurance. The sophisticated, AOR-inflected production values helped pave the way for her massive secular pop crossover in the subsequent decade.
