Album Notes & Community Reviews
Breaking an eight-year silence, the Canadian progressive metal titans return with a sprawling, staggeringly heavy conceptual epic heavily indebted to classic science fiction and existential fantasy. Balancing ferociously complex, sludge-tinged guitar riffs with highly ethereal, soaring clean vocals, the arrangements are profoundly atmospheric and meticulously structured. It is a wildly ambitious, triumphant resurrection of their acclaimed sound.
