Album Notes & Community Reviews

Originally released in France and quickly imported to capitalize on the American fascination with high-fidelity stereo oddities, this wildly eccentric recording heavily utilizes studio manipulation and tape splicing. The Parisian arranger contorts traditional pop structures, polkas, and tangos into dizzying, incredibly surreal sonic funhouses. The deeply playful, slightly chaotic aesthetic secured the album's cult status as a quintessential, boundary-pushing masterpiece of the Space Age Pop era.
